Regarding SK kilts, I guess you can get what you want. They offer four different levels of workmanship last time I looked, depending on what you want to spend. Most people rave about it based on their heavyweight wool kilts, which provide great off-the-rack kilts at a very reasonable price.

Those provide a great chance to dress up without breaking the bank, especially when one just starts wearing kilts and is unfamiliar with the options out there.

For having beer dumped on you, they have a bargain basement version which might work.

Are you perhaps confusing Sport Kilt and Stillwater Kilts?
