ClanJamfry no more?

I just heard from Lee Hutchinson from Memphis. Most of the old guard volunteers for ClanJamfry have bowed out, and it doesn't look good for it's future. Lee stated that last year, [ 2010 ] may have been the last! That would be a shame, since they do so much good with it.

I visited Clanjamfry for the first time in 2009. Memphis is my hometown and I was hoping to host for clan MacIntyre this year, so I was disappointed to get the same information from Lee in response to my email request. I do hope the event comes back whether on the church grounds or elsewhere.

Don't know yet if I can make it, there have been some health issues in the family these past (too many) months.

According to Lee, it will be a one-day event on Sunday consisting of a kirking and the outdoor dinner. There will be no clan gathering. I'll pass.
