For some strange reason I have missed out of this thread. But I guess it's never too late to chime in with a big Congrats on your recovery Ron. Looking forward to lots of good threads and pics from you in the future.

It will have to have bright red as one of the colors to match the bright red color of the Adriamycin I had to take.

Well, the drug they used on me, Cladribine, does sound a bit like it was named for a town in Scotland....

This latest news is just brilliant, Ron. Very well done my friend - I am truly pleased for you. Four weeks! Amazing! Of course, the Chemo is bad enough but I thank The Heavens that you had no need for a surgeon.
I see both my surgeon and my oncologist this coming Friday - first time since leaving hospital in January - and I hope with all my heart that I'll be told I am in the clear as it's now 16 months since I was diagnosed.
Take good care of yourself,
Ham.

I've said it before, Hamish, and I'll say it again- it's great to see you here, and relatively healthy.
Ron- See, I told you that you were too cantankerous to let any stupid disease get you. I saw this thread evolving this way right from the start. Not a worry in my mind! (But I did say a prayer or two for you, brother. )
