This seller doesn't offer international shipping.
Just to make sure I may contact them, as this seems to be a good deal, and a real (not synthetic) horse-hair sporran.
I look forward to your review.
Ah, see it. Took a bit of looking but I did find it, just as you said.

Some time ago, about 12 months ago I think, I emailed the shop for a quote on postage to Australia, the email came back with the answer of GBP72.00, 12 quid more than the cost of the sporran. Needless to say that I said thanks but no thanks

Pahhh! This notion been nagging at me for weeks thank-you-very-much.
So now I own this!
Bought it on't t'interweb this morning. I have no idea when or if I will wear it but as I've mentioned before, it's not always in the wearing, it's also in the having!! Mrs EB is going to go mental!!
("maybe you'll be wearin' it when you're playing your pipes John" said the little voices in my head...)
In case you're wondering...
They are on a 'buy it now' at the UK version of a favorite auction site and there are several available, all un-badged. If you want to take a shufftie, type "British Scottish Sporran" into the general search bit and there are a variety that come up at £60 + delivery.
They've just loaded a black one with 5 white tassels today (8 currently available). It's most attractive... Kind of wish I'd waited now.
If you then delve into their shop and look in the Scottish Regimental section, even more delightful goodies await.
An' no it's not my shop! ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif) Just thought I'd share a lucky find. Bring back the hairy sporran, that's what I say!
Nice Black Watch sporran that![Smile](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

I like the much less regimental shaggy look that end below the front of the apron

Just checked.
Assuming the sporran and packing weighed 2kg (possibly a generous estimate) If posted to Australia by air, via Royal Mail and shipped as a small package it would cost £23.13 in stamps +/- £5 for packaging... Loosely £30 taking into account time and trouble.
They do state however that they use only Parcelforce. If sent Parcelforce International it's a £50 flat-rate + £12 insurance = £62 + packaging + admin... £72 sounds about right. ![Shocked](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)
On the other hand, if I buy the hat I'm pining for from You chaps, shipping would cost Au$22 to airmail it to me and presumably the hat would come in a bigger box. Doesn't seem fair really.

I've clocked it as Black Watch. Even though it's un-badged I might still have a play about with the tassles to make it less obvious.

English Bloke, I have since got from ebay a black hair sporran with two white tassells, ex military, brand new in the box, won at GBP 57 and 25 quid P & P with full pouch at the rear. Whenever I get something from Great Britain I expect to pay up to GBP 25.00, which I consider reasonable, in fact a kilt from Scotweb only cost 32 quid via Fedex, and takes 5 days to get here. So this parcelforce charge of 70 always makes me have a bit of a giggle.

That's nice... Have you spoken to Scott the "Artificer" re: the possibility and cost of having it made. He does some smashing stuff and has a historical hairy sporran project going on at the moment I believe.

Interestingly in those long gone days of CB radio my handle was Hairy Sporran!
