Las Vegas Games 2011

Mixelito24 and family will be at the Las Vegas Games this weekend.
Hose of Boyd AGM is Sunday afternoon. Ten of us Boyds will be there.
Also at the Buchanan tent for Sally.

I'll be there!

For a piper, the big attraction is the best band in North America, Simon Fraser University, will be going head to head with the Western US's best band, the Los Angeles Scottish. My understanding is that these bands will be performing on Fremont Street on Friday and Saturday night.

Usually early Saturday evening all the pipe bands from the Games march down Fremont Street.

Also this year they're putting on a Military Tattoo featuring the Scots Guards and several other units. It will be Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 at the Thomas and Mack Center.

I will be at the games, any X-Markers are welcome at the MacNaughton tent. I should be next to the St Andrews tent again this year. Stop by around 2pm for a toast to the chieftans!

I will also be driving from the host hotel to the Tattoo on Saturday night if anyone who flew in needs a ride.
