    Yes I would go with red/white, red/black, or red/green hose myself.

    The pipers of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders wore red/black diced hosetops with spats, but with buckled brogues wore diced full hose which appear to be green/black or perhaps green/navy. They look great.

    Yes the RRS wear red/black hose with their Sutherland kilts but diced hose have always been popular with civilian wear also, and their civilian use predates their military use.

    I have a Stillwater Heavy Weight in Black Watch. Depending on the shirt I'm wearing, I wear my Lovat blue with a dark shirt or my Oatmeal with lighter colored shirts.
    I've found that most relationships work best when no one wears pants.
