The issue of not enough knee showing is probably not the case, us men of substance have that problem as our kilt hangs out farther away from our knees giving the illusion that the kilt is too low or the hose are too high.

Very, very nice. looks like the Lockcarron 16oz. Sorry but we just like to know these little details.
