    Made of Honor

A bit less than a year ago when I ordered my kilt, my wife told my mother-in-law about it. She laughed and said we had to rent this movie. We forgot all about it. Soon afterwards my mother-in-law became ill and passed away. Well, 2 days ago we were at the movie rental place and after a while not finding anything interesting I remembered this movie. I suggested it to my wife, she looked at me with tears in her eyes and said your not gonna beleive this but I was thinking the same thing. So in rememberance of her mother we got it. Kind of a chick flick but enjoyable, funny. A good bit takes place in Scotland. Make some points with your better half and watch this movie. Thanks for letting me ramble on.

Great that you were both able to remember her that way. It will always be a bond between you and your wife in her loss.

Thanks. She was a great Lady, proud of her Texas roots and her Scottish-Irish heritage. She is missed greatly.

Funny you mention this. We were watching Four Weddings and a Funeral last night and during the wedding set in Scotland, it made me think of Made of Honor and how I wanted to see it again... But that lassie totally made the wrong choice.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Oh,...I don't know,...anybody who can drop a caber on a Triumph Stag (if memory serves me correctly) can't be all that bad.
