    I Finally Said It

So I'm hiking kilted today. Two couples in their late 30s or early 40s approach....we exchange greetings as we pass on the trail.

Just after they pass a lady turns around and asks, "What are you wearing under there?"

For the first time I tried out, "An elegant p*nis"

She doubled over in laughter and kept clapping her hands. Her three friends were cracking up too. Finally one of the guys said, "Hey, you asked..."

So, first time out this response worked well.

    Thumbs up

That's the best one yet! I love it! Consider it stolen.

I had a similar experience recently. The wife and I were exiting a private club after having partaked of a fine meal when a lady hopped off a bar stool and ran her hand up my leg. The only response I could thnik of was "Hey you like that. Well so do I." We had a good laugh over it and continued to exit the club. I did not know the lady as we were guests at the club not members. I was wearing at the time so she might have been disappointed.

Seriously though I have had very few derogatory remarks or instances over wearing a kilt. Most people ask questions out of curiosity. The most frequent question is "Are you Scotch?" To which I reply, "No, I have a celtic heritage. And then seeing the confused look I get I explain that my ancesters came from Cormwall. An I get as many questions from men as I do from women.

Good response, especially since it worked!

My personal fave regarding what I wear under the kilt, since I'm fond of double entendres, is "My hose".
"It's all the same to me, war or peace,
I'm killed in the war or hung during peace."
