Let YOUR utterance be always with graciousness, seasoned with salt, so as to know how you ought to give an answer to each one.

We women respond to kilts the same way we do with babies.
1) Look at it apprasingly
2) Smile and picture ourselves holding one.
3) Talk to owner of said "object" and offer compliments.
4) As people carrying babies often seem approachable and amiable, we feel the same should hold true for said kilt wearer.
We can not help this. It is in our biological makeup.

Women certainly love to see and hold babies so the theory "GoodGirlGonePlaid" has offered sounds like a perfectly reasonable explanation. Women just can't help themselves, it's in their nature.

You people realize you're forcing me to buy a kilt now, don't you?
As opposed to later, after I dump a truckload of weight?

So, go for the Stillwater for now, just wait to get the 8yd tank until AFTER you "dump a truckload of weight"

By all means, yes. The Economy model won't set you back much, and when you "de-grow" it (sorry for making up a term, it seemed necessary), you can get something more permanent.

Actually, I had one from USA Kilts in mind. They do the larger sizes. And their Casual and even Semi-Traditional are not terribly expensive.

Those would be excellent choices.

Here in Scotland, most Scots lassies already know at least one man who owns a kilt, even if he only wears it rarely, so the Scots lassies pay little or no attention when they see a guy in a kilt.
What I have found is that the kilt is a big hit with the women while I've worn it in USA or Canada, and within Scotland it certainly attracts ladies who are here from overseas, from Canada, from USA, from South Africa, from Eastern Europe, from the Arab Nations etc...

Recently a lady friend of mine confessed that kilts are like magnets to women... and suggested that I probably borrow my mates' infant from them to get the same effect when not kilted, lol.
Hrm... guy in a kilt PLUS a wee bairn... how does that stack?
