Food you thought: USA Kilts has made to measure casual kilts which are reasonable in price with the advantage of verifying your measurements before sinking a lot of money into an expensive wool kilt. The USA Kilt is made of PV, which is washable and easy to care for.

My first USA Kilt let me know, I needed to make some slight measurement adjustments (waist & length) before having a wool kilt made of $300 worth of custom tartan.

In addition to that 1st kilt and my custom wool kilt, I now own 2 more USA Casual kilts. My USA Casuals are for everyday wear when driving and being out and about. I highly recommend them. The Gordon tartan mentioned in this thread is available from USA Kilts as well as tartan choices marked with ** as "universal" tartans that can be worn by anyone. FYI, you can have the option of having the USA Kilts logo patch sewn on or left off the front apron.
