Well, for what it's worth, it's OK with me.
There are plenty of folks wearing tartans based on more tenuous linkage than that. So if you like the MacQueen tartan , go ahead!
I think if I were a desendant of the Conn Cétchathach I'd look at the Tara tartan as well.
