    May I suggest that this will be fine for evening wear, but a black or brown leather sporran would be more appropriate for daytime wear.

    I'm inclined to agree with you Chris. That's a fine sporran but definately on the side of formal. The Kilt is uncommon as general wear in Scotland and you'll be standing out in the crowd by wearing one. No need to over-egg the pudding by wearing a formal sporran during the day as well. Have you looked at the cargo sporrans from Stillwater Kilts? (Nylon or leather) Plenty of room in those to hold the nick-nacks of the travelling man.
