Hrm... guy in a kilt PLUS a wee bairn... how does that stack?
I can say guy in a kilt PLUS a wee bairn in a kilt works well....

I borrowed that kid from his mom for a few moments just to take the photo, (My wife and I deal with children the way most people do with rattlesnakes) And even at a celtic fest with plenty of guys in kilts around, I got extra female attention because of my brief proximity to the kid.

Slightly less expensive than a child and eqally effective is a puppy. As a friend of mine once said " Kilted, with a puppy, isn't really fair. It's like shooting fish in a barrel!
