In my first few years as a member of this forum, I sometimes got a little hot about some of the things I read and replied. Of course this just made things worse and occasionally got me into a tiny bit of trouble with the mods.
Now, as I approach my 7th anniversary as a member, my practice is to pretty much ignore threads which might be in violations of our rules. If I see something that really gets to me,I might go as far as P'ming a mod and asking that they take a look at the thread.
There are three subjects which I will not argue with anyone, be it on here, or face to face, and all three are covered by our rules

Onion and pepperoni in a grilled cheese is good, too, especially dipped into tomato sauce which has a right smart of Italian seasonng in it.

I have enough irritations and negativity in my every day life. Why let that get carried over to a forum where I go to read and write about stuff that I *enjoy* with like-minded people? ?
It became clear and obvious a long time ago that people who get in a huff and make problems for others online, are generally people that are very unhappy with themselves.
I often feel very sorry for those types knowing that they lack the spine to actually say these things they feel so strongly about, to the faces of their intended recipients.
I have a simple rule: If you wouldn't say it/do it to someone in person, don't type it online.

It's most pertinent and relevant to a thread that is currently carrying a rather swift moving topic in another section on this forum.
Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

Hear, hear. I've learned to ignore even those here that intend to bait argument.
