    The Joneing is over

And now begins the lookie at what I got can begin

Just got my new Navy kilt in from xman and it is sweet! With his help I got the measurements right. I've been giving my maker the wrong measurements.

    Though note to self -

    iron THAN remove basting stitches

    Here we go -

This should be close to how I will wear it to military functions. I just couldn't find my waist coat -

xman did a real nice job and I'm glad to have his work in my collection.

    Jim

That's surely a snazzy tartan. How many yards, what weight, and what weaver?

Also, was this an exchange for one your awesome knives?

Strathmore Woollen is the mill and there shouldn't be any need to iron it at all. Just let it hang for a day and any wrinkles or creases from shipping should fall right out.

I'm very glad you're pleased Jim.

Thanks, got it hanging up right now. Will be making it's public debut Sunday at Scarborough.
