Consider Cabela's Garrison Belt. 1 3/4 inches.

As I stated above, I do love mine. I did think of one thing that bugs me, though. The silly 2" belt loops drive me kinda nuts. While I was waiting for the kilt, I went out and bought a 2" web belt. When they say 2" they mean 2". The buckles on the belt are of course slightly more than 2", So they won't go through the belt loops. On occation I've just ignored the belt loops altogether, and worn my 2 1/4" web pistol belt over them. (the old one with the holes for Alice clips - looks great with the Olive kilt ) I'm just going to have to break down and buy the 2" belt from Amerikilts.

What is everyone else doing for a belt?

First off, I've never had a problem wearing a standard kilt belt with mine- I do it all the time. I have to put the belt on the kilt before putting the kilt on, though. However, I did decide that that's a pain in the butt and made myself a 2 inch belt:



I know that's not my amerikilt, but it gives you a good idea of the belt I use. The red looks killer with both my olive and black AK. I have to say that a belt made from 10oz leather would deffinately be more like armor than accessory. That's some heavy duty leather they use!
