I usually wear a SWK nightstalker. It's wicked awesome! I also wear a plain black leather sporran when I feel like changing it up a bit.

In addition to those already mentioned I would add.....

    Depending on your budget.......

Anything from the Buzz Kidder line. For example -

or perhaps what some consider the best day sporran, a Freelander

There's a dress code in casual pubs where long-haired tattooed guys hang out?

Sheesh, wear anything. You're in a kilt. That is the furthest extent of what any of them will see.

I'd go with a simple leather sporran for that event. I'd go with that to avoid damaging anything with hair on it. Most importantly, have fun!

A plain leather day sporran(with/without tassels)will do nicely. Just because it is sailing under the description of "day" does not mean that the leather "day" sporran cannot be worn at appropriate events in the evening. Just like the tweed "day" jacket can be worn in the evening for non formal events.

I think a punk sporran would be most suitable. Pair it with a leather jacket, tee shirt from your favourite rock band, and steel toe boots. Good to go!
