Hear Hear! Dr. Tewksbury is eminently deserving of the honor. Her contributions to this forum, in both kiltmaking and geological postings, have been one of the things that give this forum such value. I perk up and hone in every time I see a thread or a post of hers. She is one of the posters who keep me coming back to XMarksthescot. Cheers!

Applause all 'round! Acknowledgement of the quintessential foregone conclusion. We're all blessed by our opportunity to share in such a life, even in such a tangential fashion.

    Congratulations Barb!
As a Geologist in training, a budding piper and a newbie kilt maker, I have many reasons to admire you. Now, I have one more. You absolutely deserve to be on the XMarks Honour Roll.

    Cheers,
    Michael

Barb, you've authored some of the most enjoyable and informative posts on this site, but what else should one expect from a triple-threat geologist / piper / kiltmaker?

    Congratulations!

    Hi all,

I am totally overwhelmed by all your comments - thank you all!

I have made many friends on this forum, and I am sure I will have as much fun in the future as I've had in the past reading about all the things that all y'all are doing and making and chiming in when I can.

I k new it was just a matter of time, and sooner rather than later. Barb is not only an X-Marks treasure but a star of the kilt-wide world.

Belated congratulations, Barb. So well deserved.

If anyone merits being thus honoured you, my good friend, do.

    Take care,
    Ham.
