Welcome from Vancouver BC Canada. I also suggest you get your kilt sooner than later. It has to be the most comfortable piece of clothing I have ever worn.
It just feels right!
Lang may your lum reek and a wee mouse never leaves your cupboard with a tear in its eye.

Welcome from Cincinnati.
We were at the Glasgow games this our too. Our Clan Chief was the Chieftan of the Games, and we had a great time (despite the heat). Hope you had a great time too. We'll be there next year too at the Clan MacTavish tent. Sop by and say, Hi!

Greetings and welcome from Frankfort. I was in your exact situation 6 months ago and bought a USAKilts casual to put my toe in the water and haven't looked back. I got my third kilt this week, a 5 yarder from Rocky. Look around, soak up as much as you can then jump on in, the water is fine!

Another Fergus(s)on
OK, so I posted my own Newbie post two days after yours (so you're my senior). Such being the case: It's good to be "joining up" with you--not least because it's always good to meet another Fergus(s)on! If you are ever in the southeast Michigan area a [Fergus(s)on] Kilt Night might be in order. Of course, the same goes for anyone else (and any other tartan) who might make their way out here as well.

A warm Scottish welcome from middle England.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
