    When I take a kilt to the cleaners, I baste the kilt pleats as well as the apron. We have a cleaners who has a "eco-low chemical-blah-blah-blah" that has worked out great for me. Needless to say though-BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS PROCESS. BAsting your pleats is a the first step though to ensure there will be no mispressed pleats.
