A hint: It will be remaining in The USA, traveling North to a town near the world's largest man-made excavation. I think there is a Scottish Festival there this weekend, so there should be some good pictures coming.
It's not top secret if you reveal it to everybody.
The husband of my mom's friend and college roommate used to work as a mechanic on the gigantic trucks they have there. They took me there once to look down into it. Quite an impressive sight. I wonder if the scarf will make it up there. I imagine it ought to at least visit ****** ****** while it's there.

Aye, the big hole is not the secret place, but a town near it is...

I like the little hints without saying exactly where it is going, it makes things all that more interesting. I readily admit that I did a little sleuthing after the last hints. Many of these stops I will never get to see save for the photos and and narrative.

IMOPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ...
WHOEVER HAS THE SCARF NEXT, PLEASE COULD YOU ADD HAMISH TO THE LIST THAT ACCOMPANIES THE SCARF AND NOTEBOOK.
THANKS.
Looking forward to the next batch of pics. I still reckon there are still nearly 40 members to go. So if we can keep the scarf moving swiftly we should just be able to do it.
In the meantime I shall continue beavering away at Scarf HQ.

Well, I sort of assumed I already knew who the scarf was going to based on the information provided, but I could be wrong about that.

Great idea, I sent my childhood rabbit tute and his side kick Coco Monkey around the world as well, they have probably been in more countries than most.

Love to you both (also Dot and Arwyn, of course!).
Take care,

Nice to see you back Old Boy!

WOW what a couple of day's
I think the scarf had fun here in Utah!
it traveled 200 miles total in the northern part of Utah.
with roughly 100 miles a day.
if all goes well it should head out to its next destination first thing in the morning so on to the pix
we had a early start to the day yesterday 6:30 am to be exact. so we could make it to the Scottish festival in time for the parade.
all day we looked for the other members that said they would be there but never did see any. we did spot the gentlemen just be for the parade in a heritage of wales tartan, and promptly got his pic with the scarf i guess the Utah Scots only have one bannerwatching the hammer throw. i will post alot more pix's from the festival in another thread
from there we left the festival to head back to Salt Lake City, For the REAL SALT LAKE vs fc dallas game...... ( note i am not kilted at this game. we had a blow out on the freeway coming back and it was driving down rain. the kilt got soaked while changing the tire. so it was laying out to dry at home my wife had been taking the pix all day, so i got her into the mixand since i decided to make this a family weekend of funas you can see 12 hours after starting the day we were all pretty beat more to come
