    Not a lot, I guess.
It does actually. It's easier now to pick out the ones I made. Thank you.

The leaves are quickly turning and its warmer than the date in fall would suggest. Nevertheless I'm rotating my wool kilts now. So, today I strapped on my USA Kilts semi-trad in Ulster weathered tartan. Taking the afternoon off to head downtown for lunch at my favorite restaurant that's closing. No, I don't need the afternoon just for lunch!

But I do need to complete some work on McSpittie for the upcoming British Car Show that I'm taking the Spitfire down to Richmond this Sunday at the Central Virginia Celtic Festival and Highland Games.

Who else is having a Kilted Friday?

Me, back in my Ulster red. Would like to see an Ulster weathered in a traditional kilt instead of my belted plaid. If you don't mind attaching a picture?

    Best,

Enjoying having another Friday to wear my kilt into work, the USA Kilts Casual Kilt in Irish National tartan with Lovat Green hose and red flashes. While talking with my wife about a dinner party we're attending this evening she said, unprompted, "you'll have to wear your tartan kilt." Almost as good a feeling as getting that kilt in the mail

This Friday, I've strapped on my USA Kilts 5 yarder in Robertson Red tartan. My sporran a custom made Artificer. Earlier this AM a resident who came to my office told me that she really enjoys seeing me kilted on Fridays. I replied let me give you the full affect and stood up and put on the kilt jacket I had.

I told her that this tartan had a special meaning to me. When I graduated from High School (before many of you here were born) I spent the summer in the UK. My mother was British born in Liverpool. I spent two weeks with her uncle, retired Capt. James Robertson of the Kings Regiment, Liverpool. Uncle Jim was a charmer. He went in at the end of WWI, sent to Ireland in the 20s saw the Republic formed and then spent 20 years in India what is now Pakistan where he raised his family. When Dunkirk fell he was brought back to the UK and was commando operating in occupied France. At the end of WWII sent to Palestine and saw the creation of Israel. What a story, eh?

Any how, he told me to go down to the nearby tailor and get a kilt measured up and have it placed on his account. I replied, that would be one of Malcolm tartan, Uncle Jim. No, lad there is only one tartan, Robertson! And would you speak the King's English! Well, I didn't but today I wear the Robertson tartan proudly.

Later this evening I'm heading to quaint but authentic Irish pub to hear some friends perform.

Who else is kilted for their Friday?

I am yet unkilted today, but I am dressing to go out this evening. I am seeing my nieces and nephew. The last time I saw them, my oldest niece (14) said that she couldn't remember the last time she saw me in trousers. Wouldn't want to break my streak.

I will be in the Cthulhu tartan.
