You're seeing correctly, they're brown.

I first saw that pic at 1 am last night and didn't notice it.

Saw a fellow not too long ago in a fire-engine-red "urban camo" kilt with matching "do-rag". Makes my eyes hurt to just think about it!

Please make way for "KILT MAN", or something. Found this picture online today. Looks like a legitimate kilt, but dressed up silly for Halloween or maybe a sporting event. I have no clue.

I agree. I didn't actually say this is a Don't. He actually looks dressed just fine. I have no real complaints about his outfit. He might want to invest in a better belt/buckle, but that's about it. I think he's just being silly, which is definitely ok.

The red, white and green colours are commonly sported by the French Basques when attending rugby matches (the Basque Region is the main rugby playing region in France). It's my guess he was attending the Scotland v France rugby match at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh which is part of the Six Nations Chamionship.
