That makes 3 of us that can't stand Crown. I think in my case it was from bartending and watching arrogant punks gulp down the Crown in an attempt to look cultured, yet after the first bottle they all proved they were nothing but wanna be thugs and losers.
I still like my "Manitoba Martini" with CC. Not exactly smooth, but if I wanted smooth whisky, I will avoid the rye and go for single malt.
So, SnakeEyes....when you are chewing this hat of yours will you be wearing a Detroit jersey and kind of kilt?

I'll take CC over Crown any day! CC is really starting to branch out now as they have 10 and 12 year types. I have yet to try their Sherry Cask yet. Soon, I think. The 100 proof is good drinking as far as I'm concerend.
Enjoy!

Never been to Newfoundland, though I'd like to. I just get my screech at the LCBO.

I have never been east of Montreal, but I sure plan to one day. The only time I have tried Screech was at the Newfie Bar and Grill, now called the Atlantic Trap and Gill, where kilt nights used to be held for us Vancouver lot.
