Where might we find the schedule of the journey? I would love to get in on some Arizona action if it should happen to pass through, or can host either way.

I don't recall a specific schedule of the journey, however I do recall it being specified to keep it moving West, with it's first stop being Japan. This would make AZ near the end of it's (presumably it will circle the earth multiple times) first time around.

The hope behind the Quest is that our Quaich be shared with as many people as possible. We also hope to allow this Quest to bring out the world-wide scope of X Marks.
We did not lay out a schedule nor set an itinerary. We only ask that it continue its trip in a Westerly direction during the first year. It will reverse direction during the second year.

So... um... any updates?

Updates, well the Quaich is in the capable hands of (new) member colin MacLeod in Melbourne (why should MELBOURNE get it twice!! only kidding).
Colin will take it to the National Celtic festival in 2 weeks as mentioned before.
My wife and I will also go and have another dram from it.
I know this is somewhat extending the period with one member, but I am hoping that others will see as I do that the event in June justifies it. Also, no one is screaming out for it right now but I have promised Colin I will help search for possible hosts to take it from Portarlington.
Thanks for the suggestions DownUnder, I'll get off 'me bum and try contacting them.
Hope this answers your question CDNsushi

The Darling Downs would love the opportunity to host the quaich - there is some fantastic Scottish influence around here (and some great places for photographs!!).
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who don't, none is possible.

festival organisers have mentioned officially the coming of the Quaich on twitter. I think it's great that they embracing it.
I have offered to speak about the origin and details of the quest if they need me too.

The quaich is officially listed in the festival events, see http://www.nationalcelticfestival.com/ and look at the twitter widget on the right.
