Your presence is required.
On an another front and to the folks who were in attendance, at KK this summer I was supposed to complete another box-pleat kilt besides the MacDonald that everyone saw. This is Dress Gordon, box-pleat, to the white block. There was alot of trepidation about the choice of 'too much' white but it was decided that I should be a little daring and go for it! I think it worked out OK. I'll be making one for myself in exactly the same way but with one more pleat added to the mix.
Stephan ... Photo? [Also, I was glad to hear you tried to keep Harlan in his place.]
Jon...nice to meet you, too. Taking the train is a lovely way to travel.

This turned out a lot different than I'd thought it would. All I could envision was all that white, no taking the intermediary colors into consideration . . . Yes, it's white compared to the whole tartan, but it's not as white as first imagined. I like it! Good thing you stuck to your guns, huh? Please don't forget to post pictures of the finished piece on its' recipient, OK?
Slàinte,
Jon

Hey, Kevvy, mate!
Here's how to get over the angst you're clearly feeling about going AWOL from Kilt Kamp a month ago. Early next year there is a new Super XV season starting. In 16 days we have the RWC kicking off with England taking on Fiji. But in only 4 days, your Eagles are hosting the Australian Wallabies at Soldier Field in Chicago! Wish I could be there!

Dee is finished
Dees first kilt started at kilt kamp 2015 and finished now we are at home. Modern Black Stewart reverse kingussie. Looks great but her model leaves something to be desired
The kilt is a bit big since I have lost 10 pounds since kilt kamp so a little tweakage may be required. ALso the belt that I bought is not long enough and neither is the sporran chains so those issues will need to be addressed. Oh and the hose are just an old pair of my military issue socks so

Forgotten, yet completed box-pleat kilt from last summer!
Hey Kilt Kampers,
I forgot I had these images in my camera of that Dress Gordon box-pleat which has been completed for a while now, but never had posted an update! Anyway, I figured I'd better let you all know how it turned out.

Fantastic job, Stephane!!! I'm so impressed you stuck to your guns on the pleating. Have you worn it out yet? Burns Dinner, maybe?
Hope all's going well there!
