    Only mildly off topic...

In May, the O. Henry museum in Austin, TX holds a Pun Competition. Seriously. punoff.com.

Whether I go depunds on how expunsive flights are. Registration is closed for this year. There are no more opunings. Maybe if I go, they can puncil me in.

In for a punny, in for a pound.

I think my cholesterol level went up 16 points just looking at that thing. It's a forking nightmare.

    Fresh from the farm

I’d stop the puns, but I don’t know cow
    That last one was sheep
    But I’ll milk it
These puns are the worst, barn none
Harvest time reaps up on you
    Farm puns are corny
I can do more, just you wheat
Man, you're really tolerant of puns (manure)
The farmer's wife, Ferta, never tells the truth. Ferta lies.
Did I goat you into making your own puns?

If you think these are bad, you don't know the calf of it.

So, we've stooped to animal humor. Well, toucan play at that game.
I could think of a few pig puns, but I didn't want to boar you.
This is becoming ridiculous. It's too easy to take a few sheep shots.

Farm puns are difficult to bring up organically in conversation, but if you don't someone will beet you to it.
