We've seen lots of pictures of HRH in semi-formal day wear, does anyone have any photos of him in semi-formal/casual evening attire just as a contrast?

What exactly do you mean by "semi-formal/casual evening attire"?

I'd be interested to see him in some formal Highland attire.

I guess I mean something in between his day wear and the full formal with a Prince Charlie coatee. Something he might wear to an evening at the theater, opera, ballet, etc. that wasn't opening night for instance. Something you might wear a black Argyle or a Crail jacket to maybe.

Well, he would wear black tie to the theatre and ballet, and white tie to the opera. As Highland dress is only worn in Scotland, he would wear a dinner jacket to the theatre and ballet, and full dress (white tie, tail coat etc) to the opera. If Prince Charles were to attend these events in Scotland he might wear Highland evening dress such has been shown.

PS.
I don't think that the Royal Family is aware that there is such a thing as a black argyll jacket! Tweed by day; evening dress by night.
