Hello all! I've just come over from bravehearts kilt forum, and i must say that this one is a bit intimidating! Haha, i dont even know where to begin looking at posts. But you've got a great site going here, and i look forward to getting in on the forum. I've got myself a stewart black USA kilt, and hopefully sometime soon i can upload a picture. it's difficult to wear it often, because my high school is full of soulless conformists (not to mention i'm the only person i know with a kilt), but i try to show the tartan pride as often as possible (like today!) and it's good to know that there are so many other fine kilted gents out there! cheers!

Welcome aboard Saemus, don't be intimidated just try to keep up. I think thats all you can do. I mostly log on to find 20-30 new posts. Enjoy yourself,

Welcome to the board! You will find a bunch of independent thinkers here all wrapped up in this thing we call kilts. I am glad to hear that you are a kilted chap yourself, and please do not feel intimidated, so jump in any time!

Well then, I certainly should fill out my profile. I'm in the Chicago area (its a suburb called evanston - the home of Northwestern University). I'm hoping to hit up some of the nice Celtic festivals we've got around here (perhaps even milwaukee, for all of you that know your celtic fests) this summer and finding some other kilt-minded folk.
