Thanks guys. My opinion of the video is a little tainted since I know Chuck's credentials and successes. It's always nice to hear what it looks like to Barleyjuice "newbies".
As for our attitude and the fun that we have... OH HELL YES we love this! Toss in some Guinnesses during the night and it's heaven on earth!
Hank: He knows that you have your "sources" and also knows how you've been a good supporter from long distance. The boys will be by at the Mid-Winter Fest to see you. As for the "project" that we were talking about... it's a "yup". I just need to get everything finalized with you relatively soon.

Rufus,
Those are some great suggestions. Not only for Jimmy, but for anyone interested in media presentations. I for one will take your suggestions to heart. Thanks for your input.
Isn't it great the resources we have at our diposal here at X Marks?

Yo Rufus, the ONLY place you're gong to find the wmv format is on the site. ALL direct contacts (and there are PLENTY) are either in VHS or mp4 on CD.
The actual goodies that head to the important places have much more than what's on the site. That's more of a "documentary" than anything else. Band pics, music videos, etc. are just too much to plop on the site.
Chuck Fishbein, who produced the spots, is the same guy that does MANY rock bands. Unfortunately, you're not seeing the total package in the one spot. The issues that you raised, however, are met in other spots.
The feedback is MUCH appreciated!

Cool stuff Jimmy! I don't know the technical stuff that Rufus pointed out, but I too thought that the crowd scenes didn't reflect the high energy of the music and the group. Overall though I really liked what I saw and it made me jealous of the folks that live near enough to see you guy's in person.

Appreciate the feedback Jamie! You would think that we would nearn NOT to have that much booze at a shoot. Unfortunately, they weren't able to use a good portion of the crowd footage that got out of hand. I guess they were trying to appeal to a broader audience of Pub owners and Festival promoters.
As for our travels... the schedule is filling-up rapidly for 2005, and we're gong places that we've never gone before. I DO know that we're hitting the Mid-West for the first time. Not sure about the West Coast as of yet.

The cities and dates are being compiled now, by Kyf. The schedule is already being filled as far in the future as far as September. We're still in negotiations with the Kansas City Irish Festival among many others. The important ones are St. Patrick's... which we'll be on a float in the Philadelphia Parade followed that evening by a performance at Tir Na Nog, the St. Patrick's Day itself with a TV appearance and the evening at Tir na Nog, and the National Tartan Day celebration in New York City where we'll be finishing-up at Rocky Sullivan's.
There are WAY too many Festivals that we're doing this year with groups like the Glengary Bhouys, the Barley Boys, Searson, Blackthorn, and some famous "Irish Imports"... and Hank... East of the Hebrides is working with us on some HUGE events in the next two years. Maybe we'll finally be in the same place?!
