You might be pleasantly surprised to learn that the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society "makes it quite clear that all ladies should wear the sash on the left shoulder... as a sash worn on the left is... less likely to get caught and tear the dress whilst dancing."
As of course, no wedding celebration is complete without a bridal waltz, this charming bride would appear to be correctly adorned.
Here's where it gets a little crazy, the stipulation of the Lord Lyon Court in Scotland about chieftans wives etc. is also correct!
See? those darned RULES tripping everyone up again and causing even MORE unnecessary stress on the big day.
Bottom line. No Chieftans wives were harmed in the making of your wedding movie, besides, surely every bride is granted honorary ROYALTY status on the day, and an honorary Princess outranks a Chiefs missus, so there!
But in all seriousness, you can both finally rest in the knowledge the bride, according to the good ladies of RSCDS, was correctly attired after all!
