From what I see the shortest Cameron is 24 inches, only the Black Watch comes in 23. Then again, my wife is going to have some input on this one so who knows, she might prefer the Cameron to the Black Watch. Time will tell. I kinda promised her she gets to pick.

The 'rolled pleats' as described are a lot less trouble to care for and maintain their shape almost regardless of treatment. You can easily see this if you experiment with folded paper, simulating ordinary knife pleats as opposed to the rolled pleats as illustrated by Deadbelly. If pleated to the stripe a kilt made this way can have a manageable length of cloth.
