I can't seem to post the jpg of the tartan, so go to kiltstore.net, clergy tartan section. See the Clergy Green ancient?

The scarf I have is identical to the Clergy Green Ancient picture there.

It is dark, but I like the color better than the others. Hey, what can I say, it's the graphic artist (my former job) coming out in me.

Let me know what you think.

I hesitate to revive a three-year old thread, but this seems the most relevant place to ask:

Does anyone know the ITI number for "Clergy (Green) Ancient"?

I've been in contact with my alma mater, which uses this tartan. The number provided was "K/7." I suspect has something to do with thread count.

The only sample I have is a necktie, and it is not quite a match to any image I have seen online. I think the tie is probably modern, not ancient, as I compare Clergy Green examples with the modern and ancient variants of other tartans.

    Thanks!

Hmmm, just searched the STA for a "Clergy green" and did not come up with any thing. Let me look one other place.

[edit] I found it at the House of Tartan and it is listed as number 701. [/edit]
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

I thought it might be 701, too. This one has the right name, though no ITI number:
    http://www.scotweb.co.uk/tartan/Cler...-Ancient/50213

And it is apparently different from Clergy (Clark) 701
    http://www.scotweb.co.uk/tartan/Clergy-Clark/55139

As well as being different from this similar pattern, Clergy Green (Strathmore) 6459
    http://www.scotweb.co.uk/tartan/Cler...rathmore/55155

    The plot thickens!
