I picked it up at Mad Dog Pub on the Riverwalk in San Antonio when I was down there the end of June. I had a thread on it:

The Riverwalk, hey I went there a couple a years ago. Sadly, it was at the beginning of my kilt days and I wore shorts instead.

It's a really nice part of San Antonio.

I'm afraid I wasn't kilted either Graham. I didn't have a lot of kilts and I wasn't wearing them at the conference, so I didn't pack any.

My hotel was only two blocks from the river, so I could walk through there every day. Lots of good restaurants. Of course, since I was in Texas, I had to have Mexican, steak, and barbeque.

I was at the Hyatt, which backs right up to the Riverwalk. There was some nice food to be had along there, as a veggie I gave the steaks a miss

What conference did you go to? Ours was an International Church conference. This year it was at Denver, as previously mentioned. I think I confused everybody turning up kilted as the Australian delegate

I'm not a big meat eater, but I figured while I was in Texas, I had to have some beef.

It was the Resource Management Conference for the Army Medical Corps. I work as an accountant in Army Medical Research and was one of the few people in my office not on vacation that week, so I got to go. Of course, since my trip was paid, it turned into a mini vacation for me.;)
