I would be interested in 4 Meters of it. If someone wants to start a list, put me down for 4 M. Prefference is 13 oz, but will do 16 oz if everyone else wants it.

    A PA kilt? - I'm in

I've been thinking about getting a PA kilt for a while, but until recently it wasn't available commercially. And even then, the only cloth I found was that same blanket. This is too good an opportunity to pass up.

So, OE, which do you prefer - the 13 oz. or the 16 oz.? I found my 13 oz. is comfortable year-round in NW PA. The 16 oz. ... well, I think that would be comfortable during lake effect snows, but it might a little warm the rest of the year. But I could go either way.

OE, I could be convinced. The tartan is pleasing to my eye and my wife is from PA. She might also like something in this tartan!

I wonder if you contact Donegal Square in Bethlehem PA, if they could direct you in the right direction. The town of Bethlehem have thier own tartan, and i know they were taking kilt orders, during celtic classic last weekend.
    Donegal Square, 534 Main St, Bethlehem, PA 18018, 610 866 3244 or http://www.donegal.com.

    hope this helps...

I just checked their web site, and they're only offering the Bethelhem tartan in polvicose.

Thanks for the referral, but it seems like most of us are looking for the PA state tartan. However the Bethelhem might be a good choice for any (US) steel workers out there ... if I ever get my father into a kilt I'll have keep this one in mind.

    Thanks,

Verlyn from what I understand the Polaris is not a production tartan, available by special order only. I am also interested in a kilt in this so let me know when you decide to start looking. Perhaps we might find a price break by combining orders.

Alexis Malcolm shows the Polaris tartan with her military tartans, so you might want to check with her.

Guess who makes their PV kilts?

They own the material but we sew them up for them... private contract with Neville.

Yep, Alexis is the one that let me know it was a special order tartan. She can get it but has to have it woven. That's why I'm thinking that 2 or 3 people might be able to get it done up and perhaps get a price break.
