Well I guess it is time for me to chime in here.
I call my red flashes Jim, my green ones I call Bob, (you can start graoning now).
I have really enjoyed following this thread it has been a lot of fun.

Fortunately, the man can take a ribbing. But you can imagine my amusement/consternation at having to tell him, "NO FLASHING!"

This thread has given me an idea for an alternate type of flash. Since it's the christmas season,use some garland. Pics of it in use will follow soon. will

In the spirit of this thread I have just made some Seasonal flashings.
They use battery operated mini blinking tree lights. Red and green in honor of Jim and Bob.
I think they go well with the misseltoe that i have on the flap of my sporran.

I think the spirit of Christmas (or is that spirits?) is getting to you guys.
My son cut out two strips of flashing for me today, & turned under the edges all around, folding the top edge over a safety pin for me.
Can't wait to tell Ben (DH) about this thread. :-D
