Ahhh, I've never actually tried using their calendar. That would be a problem.

Are you guys psychic? Yesterday I was in Borders looking at the 1/2 price calendars and I had this exact thought. I'd buy one.

Who buys calenders? I get 5 or 6 free ones every year from the bank, my mechanic, the drug store and a bunch of places I do business.

I think Hank is kind of busy right now, see his post about the new baby on the way.

The only problem is, how many of us could compete with Hamish? There isn't a bad pic of him in a kilt anywhere! I'm surprised more kilt makers don't use him to showcase their goods.

Ham would make a great model for kilts. He always manages to be photographed with such dash and poise. He's very photogenic.

    Rob,

I'll respectfully disagree with your assessment concerning Hamish's love of the camera (that's not meant to insult, it's just my personal opinion): There are many other gentlemen here (young and old alike) who have posted great looking photos, but not all of them were individual and/or posed photographs.

Group photos (i.e., more than just a couple of people), or photos of kilted men on the job (or with family members) should be considered as well, don't you think? A bit of variety would suit the calendar, I think, and that's more of what I [personally] had in mind.

Perhaps "a kilted city a month" calendar? A photo of a gathering of the kilted at a recognizable landmark in some of the areas of kilt concentration.

That is a great idea. Perhaps the Xmarkers in each area could get together just for that purpose. Those in the DC area could get together and pose in front of one of the buildings or monuments. Those near Philadephia could pose in front of, say Independence Hall. Those around Denver could do the same at a landmark there. And similar posings could be arranged at other cities. I'm certainly willing to make the short trip into DC for this purpose.

Poor Graham. He'll have to pose by himself in Tasmania! Unless of course he can get someone from mainland Australia to join him.
