Different Reasons for wearing the Kilt

I wear my kilts primarily because they're comfortable. I refuse to put on weasel squeezers again.

Now I'm really glad to have a kilt!

Positive day kilted in Rockville!
My daughter and I surprised my lovely bride at her office yesterday. The office had seen photos of my kilt, I hope no one was traumatized by the visit. We passed through again after lunch. She called me up later to report new patients on their way in were commenting about someone wearing a kilt in the building.

I wear the kilt because:

1. It helps me with several medical disabilites I have that are benefited by the freedom of movement, comfort and the ventilation.

2. Because of my Irish ancestry.

3. I enjoy the compliments I get from other people - especially the ladies.

4. I think I look good in a kilt, and feel more dressed up.

5. I pay more attention to and take more pride in my appearance.

6. I like being my own person, and not letting peceived norms of dress dictate what I wear.

7. Because the kilt is a masculine garment.

I wear the kilt because...

- I always liked kilts.
- Kilts look great.
- Worsted wool tartan kilts look awesome.
- Kilts are comfortable.
- My wife loves to see me kilted.
- All women seem to agree with her...
- My Scottish heritage is faint, but I still wear the kilt with pride...I show my love and respect for Scotland.
- I just like to wear a kilt.
- Never a dull moment when kilted.
