Very interesting thread, Colin! I hope it stays civil and is allowed to continue.
As for PETA...doesn't that stand for People Eating Tasty Animals?

Northern California seems to be the headquarters for Veganism and PETA members. Right now they seem to more interested in going after high-profile targets like cosmetics firms that do animal testing and celebrities who wear real fur coats.
Some Vegans and PETA folks are also targeting schools to try to get kids away from eating meat. They pose it as a health issue, but their politics are really about the rights of animals.
I believe in animal rights. Animals should have the right to eat PETA members.

Wonderful, I've got a meeting tommorow with one of our suppliers,he's got a PETA sticker on his truck and is a member. It's going to be tough keeping a straight face with PETA- People Eating Tasty Animals in your head. I've been staring at blueprints all day and needed a good laugh. Thanks.

Well, vegetarian here!
I do it for my health!
I would suggest the "Food Revolution" as informative, and interesting, reading.
Yes, I wear leather. It's not a perfect world.
