Seventy-Eight Meters?
What, we did twenty, last time? We've got about a hundred meters of X Marks Tartan cloth out there.... If three meters goes into the average kilt, that means there's something on the order of 30 X Marks kilts coming together, here.
whooooaaaahhhhh.....
This is bigger than I ever imafined it, and largely because of your hard work.

Yeah, it would be great if we could do a gathering sometime with everybody in the Xmarks tartan.

Steve, I haven't made plans to get mine made into a kilt yet, so if some-one else has a spot saved with their kiltmaker, feel free to send them my portion if it helps: I'll use this as an exercise in patience.

Congrats, guys. If I could spare the cash for another tank, I think that would be the one. I can't wait to see pics of your kilts.

And for some, the biggest question is how to pleat it!
(am currently taking suggestions)

So much joy on this thread - and there should be!
Here's what awaits you...

At least Dave for sure from Kathy Lare....
I'm finding my X Marks tartan is VERY versitile for different occasions, the colors go with many other colors. A dream kilt for me.
Add the fellowship to all that. We gotta rendezvous somewhere.
And, I'm betting maybe there are a few guys who wanna add yardage to the finishing run if that's possible...

I say scrunch it up in a ball and let the wrinkles determine where to put the pleats...
Can you tell that I am a little bitter at not being able to participate in the excitment as funds were (and still are) too low to get in on the order. now if you will excuse me i have a bunch of flies to pull the wings off of....
