All that celebrity can go to a guy's head - addicting, even!
Great photos. Now I want to go to Istanbul.

Rex, it's a city definately worth going to! I was just thinking how great it was yesterday when withing a quarter mile radius you can see the Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace with the Harem quarters, and then go to THE Grand Bazaar. Love that city.
By the way, that moustache in the new avatar pic is awesome! I have always wanted a nice 'curled' moustache, but my bristle hair is straight and has no plans of cooperating with any attempts at styling.

Super pictures thanks for posting, then maybe it's how good the kilt looks on ya.

Awesome pics! It's funny that you're the tourist, and you're being asked for pictures!

Great pictures and just think of the stories those kids got to tell their friends and family. You'll probably be posted in a lot of family albums and have the story told a retold for a long time to come. You do make a good ambassador for the rest of us and maybe the next time a kilt shows up in Istanbul, they'll receive a reception like yours. Remember the good times and quickly forget the rest. Here's to ya

A truly awesome experience, you are indeed an "Ambassador of the Kilt". Maybe the Mods will Create a a title for you. It is well deserved.

Those pics are great! I'm sure you had an excellent time!
I'll have to say the only thing benign in a kilt is the wool thread itself, although I am sure a kilt or two has been known to soak up a lot of malted beverages!

Here are a few more pictures from the trip. No more of me in the kilt, but some decent shots of Istanbul.

A view of the Bosphorus.
