I was kilted in New Orleans last Summer and I took a 2 hour swamp tour. At one point, the tour operator came up to me and said, "Obviously you aren't concerned about getting your a$$ kicked, 'cause you a big boy, but I gotta say, you got some big brass balls wearin' a kilt 'round here!" He went on to say. "I'll bet that's comfortable. I wish I had the courage, I gotta hand it to ya'."
It was one of the most sincere complements I have ever received.
I told him, "You'll see, someday you'll walk into Walmart and see kilts in the men's department." He replied, "Man, I hope so, I can't wait! When I do, I might even get one!" I said, "See now, I don't need to wait until they sell it in Walmart before I'll wear it. Not if it's what I want to do." He nodded and said, "Brass balls, man, big brass balls... you 'da man!"

I saw a pair of hollow brass balls that clanged on a key chain not too long ago at a particularly risque shop. I was tempted to buy them and pin them to the inside of my kilt apron. That way they could clang while I walked and if people asked, I could tell them that it was my brass balls!

Hey Blazn that was a positive comment I reckon, tho I trust not litterally true! Would've made a tough jog that day. I personally don't mind swearing one bit. I do fall into that catagory of being undrer 35 (only just) but probably because I'm Australian and we, generally speaking, swear like sailors on a saturday night on leave. I often find myself having edit my posts....
Well done doing the run in a kilt. Get any press for it?
Erin.

And the forum staff appreciate it. Immensely.
Particularly in the midst of threads like this one. Guys, we're not in a locker room, OK? Nuff said?

Sorry... I didn't mean run in the literal sense. I live about 5 miles (8km for you metric types) from the Exchange. WAAAY to far to run.
I DID do a metric century Sunday April 30th. 100Km, and I did it all with next to no preperation. Didn't even ache the next day! I wasn't kilted, though.
