I purchased one as well, and I use it daily!

I wear it off to the side with my p@#ts.

I made a nylon belt for it, and I reinforced the D Ring strap that came with it. It was bunching up and the D rings were turning (I hate that). I added two more thicknesses of the nylon web belt material, and it is holding up fine.

I load this sporran up at times, and it holds ALL I need.

On Tartan day in NYC I got a comment because of the uniqueness of the sporran.

    Thanks Jerry!

I've used mine for a few months now. I removed the little strap with the D rings and ran a 1" x 40" long strap with buckle from REI. I put it on and cut it to fit. Best of all, the strap only cost a couple of bucks and goes with the nylon sporran.

I just thought I'd add some pics showing the capacity and measurements as well. In the other thread, someone mentioned a curiosity about the advertised firearm capacity, so I've included some examples of that also.

The interior is 7" wide x 8" tall.

The rear pocket will fit a sporran flask and a wallet side-by-side.

    Here's what was inside.

The front flap fits my cards and a small knife.

While under the flap fits a sub-compact .45 with an extra clip.

Here's a view of how they nest, so you can get an idea of what was fit into it.

The back pocket fits the pistol with room to spare, but there's no way a full-size version with a 5" barrel would fit; I fit a Sig P220 (4") into it, but had to stretch the sporran to zip it shut - deforming the symmetry of the sporran.

As for how much the cargo-pocket of the sporran will hold, I came this close...

...to fitting in a 750 ml. of Crown Royal. This thing can hold a lot!!

    I have to chime in:

I wear mine every day, it is absolutely first class. Service was great, it arrived days before I expected it.
Everything I need fits in and it gets recognised as a sporran (important here in Germany where kilts are rare!)
I wear it with a nylon kilt belt and a nylon belt made of straps and buckles from my outdoor shop.
    Very casual, but great!

    Delivery times

I've had the link on my favourites for a couple of months but only ordered one today (Sunday.) I've paid by Paypal so I'll let you know how quickly they manage to get one over to the U.K. Looking forward to it!
