    Considering the Army's most recent decision on uniforms, the navy becomes even more appropriate:

    I always liked the dress blues, soon to become the standard Army service uniform, but I never had the occasion or desire to spend the money on the extra uniform.

    Huzzah! It's nice to see that. Personally, I've always liked the "army blue", so it's nice to the Army recognizing its history and association with blue as a uniform colour.

    Got the official notification of the adoption of the new uniform in the e-mail this morning. The mandatory posession date is not till 2011. I'll be retired. Already got a set of Blues though. If the mess jacket is still an option I may have to get one of those to be a little different. Definately think the navy would look good with the Army tartan.
