I had the same thoughts about matching with black sporran, belt, and shoes. Decided it was too much black. I think that problem is that it would work better if the shoes were a pair of boots. I actually saw a nice pair in the store yesterday and may have to get them. Will round out my shoe choices to go with my kilts.

Ron, you look good (as always), but I have to agree with Hamish on the black/brown issue. I've always preferred black leather- guess it's just the biker influence, but I don't think that black should be "formal only".

Your assumption is correct, Rob. I know of no homes over here with it but some business premises have it installed nowadays.

It was 88ºF outside at 10.00pm with what I imagine to be matching humidity.

Today is supposed to be 102ºF with 65-70% humidity here.

(And, yes, I *do* have air conditioning.)
