Well, my the two swatches I requested from Kathy came today. I tell you what, that lady is a class act all the way around. Anyhow, I have completely fallen in love with... errr.. crap... BOTH OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!
Man, I'm supposedt to be vaccuming (wedding guests are beggining to flock up Hobbs.) Am I?? NOooooooo... I'm sitting here on Xmarks talking about my new swatches and perioically going to their resting place on the counter... looking... caressing... ehhh.
I think I may go with the USAF tartan, simply because I've always been so proud of my time served. The one downside to the USAF fabric is it's an 11oz.I'm not like most, in that I shun a ligher weight tartan. Actually my Henderson Ancient is an 11 oz. And, living in this desert, an 11 oz. is probably a VERY wise choice. But, I guess I just kinda had it in my head that I was going to get a "tank." Ah well, it's so perty I can't help it. I'm definately going to get the NM Land of Enchantment sewn into a kilt too (it's a 13 oz BTW) but after the USAF... I think....
