I'm pretty new here myself and still waiting for my first kilt to arrive.

Will you be wearing your kilt just for special ocassions or for casual everyday wear? Initiallly I want to get some Utilikilts for casual wear and then get a Stillwater kilt for church.

Are kilts very common where you are? They are almost non-existant here in the Arizona desert.

Uhmm...nope!

In the Netherlands kilts are very rare...bagpipers, highland games, whisky festivals...yes, but "on the street"...no...never seen a "real" kiltwearer.

Phil, In the Netherlands it isn't common to wear a kilt. Although, there are several pipebands. There are also the Dutch Highlandgames and different festivals. That's were I wear my kilt. I'm looking forward to the first one. It's named the Castlefest and it's been held on the 7th of august. Whem I got some pictures I will post them.
