KCW, you're going to have to find a nice little digital camera to carry in the sporran.
Livingston and KCW, I do carry such a camera almost everywhere; backpacking in a fanny pack, cycling in the handlebar bag, or kilting around in my sporran. It's a couple years old now, but it is small (palm-sized) and the pic quality is great for my purposes. Canon model numbers are now SD400 or higher, but plenty of the lower model numbers are on eBay. The camera is labelled 3.2 megapixel, but the actual jpeg files on superfine setting (hi res) average about 900 kb to 1.3 megs each. It also does low res video clips of 3 minutes, and hi res of 30 seconds.

An Atlantis from Grant Peterson? OMG!! How long did it take for them to deliver your bike?
I acquired this bike back in 2001 in preparation for my coast to coast project. It so happened that a new batch of frames was enroute from Japan when I placed my order, and one in my size was available for fairly quick buildup. I recall it was only a month or so wait. Even more fortunate was my proximity to Rivendell's location in Walnut Creek, CA, which allowed me to drive over and pick it up when it was ready. Saddle and pedals were extra, a standard practice because of picky cyclists. I chose the Brooks B-17 saddle and installed Time ATAC MTB pedals to use with Shimano sandals. It is the nicest bike I'll ever own and use.
