I orderd a size 30 3 weeks ago and was informed via e-mail that the size 32 was the smallest they now sold and that I should call to see if any were still any 30's in stock. They didn't have any unfortunatly.

Just thought that 1 thing odd... that's all.

Bottom line: You probably (don't know if you will or not) won't use the modesty snap all that often, so it won't matter that much anyway.
Utilikilts are in the process of moving out of thier building into a different facility. I've been told that they are not taking new orders (they will usually ship in stock items though) and they probably feel that it would take them a very loooong time to service this mistake.

Unless you use your workmens on scaffolding or do roof work, you will probably never use this feature. Trust me I've only had one occasion to do so and I do facility maintenance ( ie. crawling up under and inside of buildings all day)

Are you talking about snaps or the button thing on the elastic? If that is so, I thought mine didn't have the back part too, only to find out when I called them that there are button holes in the back opposite the closures. Look really close in the seam area of the pleat and you may find the button hole for the front closure.

It's a nice kilt to trash around in.
Only one problem, these kilts have modesty snaps to close the kilt if need be and mine only had the two snaps in front, none in the back so I called them up and they are sending me the snaps and told me to find a taylor and they'll take care of me.
Well I've got to go and hang up my freshly washed kilt.

You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!

The Workmans has a metal snap. One piece on the back and the other on the back apron. I'm puzzled by his reference to two snaps on the front, mine only has one. It's probably an improvement they've made in the year since I got mine.

All of my workman's have 4 snaps on the front (two low, two high) and two in the back. My oldest is 4/12 years old.

The elastic modesty system is only on the survival model.
